I met Sou, and he's awesome! High-quality fish. If you are looking for quality over $$ then I highly recommend this place. Sou is very knowledgeable and he will teach you anything you want to know.

well stocked tropical fish, the fish look happy and well cared for. prices are very reasonable. store is small but clean and easy to move through. staff were knowledgeable amd friendly.

Decided to get back into the hobby and visit this LFS since it was nearby where I live. Got to meet Sou, the owner, and talk a bit about fish keeping. Extremely nice and knowledgeable person. Has a great selection of other fish such as discus, koi, plecos, bettas and more. The only place I know in the area that imports Fancy Goldfish from Thailand with fantastic quality. Picked up an Oranda to start up and will definitely be getting more very soon! Would not hesitate to shop here for those wondering. 11/10 experience!!!

I was easily impressed with Imported Fish. The wide selections of discus, fancy goldfish, bettas, guppies, and so many more varieties of fresh water fish was astounding. I am proud to say that I am now a proud owner of a Thai Oranda.

Awesome quality goldfish here! My small family came here looking for some goldfish to add to our tank and found a good selection to pick from. We ended up buying 3 Thai Orandas. We will definitely be back for some Ranchus in the future.

This review is the truth - TOP 5 best fish store in MN!!! Probably the best goldfish and Discus selections in MN too! Fish quality is different (better) than majority of other stores easily. Owner is cool and friendly and tanks are clean. Don't listen to the haters and some fake reviews below...go check it out yourself! He does a lot of giveaway and quarantine/medicate his fish (hence why some fishes may still look rough). Ofc sometimes inventory gets low because things may get sold quick...so be patient for restock and lock in you Boomers, Gen X, Y, Z, and Alpha. Otherwise, great store, great variety of freshwater selections from nano, betta, neocaridina shrimps, corys, nerite snails, loaches, plecos, goldfish, discus, cichlids, etc. - and they're fairly new and still growing. 10/10 -IGN.

I was excited to check out Imported Fish, but when I arrived I was a bit disappointed by the limited selection. During my visit, there was only one betta and quite a few empty tanks. It may have just been bad timing on my part. I plan to visit again, and if things change, I’ll update my review. UPDATE Although my first visit—and initial review—wasn’t the best, my opinion of Imported Fish has definitely changed. I’ve since purchased several fish from here, and all of them are thriving. The owner is very welcoming and always willing to share his knowledge. If you’re looking for fish or aquarium supplies, it’s worth stopping by Imported Fish for your aquatic needs! 🐠
